VW emissions scandal

The VW emissions scandal has been on everyone’s lips since 2015. VW agreed to pay compensation in the USA in 2016. In Switzerland and the rest of Europe, VW is not willing to negotiate.

In cooperation with Schwärzler Attorneys-at-Law, the Consumer Protection Foundation has developed a lawsuit procedure to assert claims by affected vehicle owners in Switzerland as well. At the end of 2017, an extensive claim for damages of approximately 6,000 injured parties was filed with the Commercial Court in Zurich.
