Civil Liability for Money Laundering – An Opportunity for Asset Recovery in Switzerland

In a decision of 9 July 2020, the Federal Supreme Court confirms its case law according to which the money launderer’s liability also extends to the damage caused by the predicate offence to the extent of the assets whose confiscation was thwarted by the money laundering.
