Art on the building

What is art in construction? Art in construction is commonly understood to mean the obligation of the state in particular, as a building owner, to spend a certain proportion of the construction costs of public buildings on works of art. That is one thing. But when private individuals take the trouble to use their building project as a public art space, then that has to do with an understanding of art.

This is what happened during the new construction of the headquarters of Schwärzler Attorneys at Law in an art project by combining art and profession. Pictures by Vorarlberg artist Marco Spitzar and lyrical-prosaic text fragments by Klaus Feldkircher play an equal role. They combine to form a symbiosis, and in their statement, they address not only the world of work but also the understanding of the client.
